{"id":12666,"date":"2025-06-06T13:28:41","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:28:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theinkk.com\/?p=12666"},"modified":"2025-06-06T13:28:43","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:28:43","slug":"first-time-table-tennis-tournament-to-be-held-in-bihar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theinkk.com\/?p=12666","title":{"rendered":"First time Table Tennis tournament to be held in Bihar"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First Bihar State Ranking Table Tennis tournament to be held between June 19 and 22<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tournament to be held at Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>It will be a good opportunity for Bihar players to showcase their talents<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tournament to be organised under guidance of internationally acclaimed TT player &amp; Padma Shri awardee Sharad Kamal<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patna: <\/strong>First Bihar State Ranking Table Tennis tournament will be held between June 19 and 22 at the indoor stadium of Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna.<br>The tournament, which will be held for the first time in Bihar, will be jointly organised under the banner of Sports Department, Bihar State Sports Authority (BSSA) and Bihar Table Tennis Association, BSSA Director General-cum-CEO Raveendra Sankaran said.<br>State ranking table tennis tournaments are organized at the state level to determine the top players in each state.<br>The tournament plays an important role for players to qualify for national and international competitions.<br>The tournament will feature table tennis competitions for various age-groups of Under 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 for both boys and girls as well as men\u2019s and women\u2019s singles, Sankaran said and added that players from across the state can participate in the tournament.<br>The participants can get themselves registered after filling up google form to take part in the tournament.<br>The last date for registration will be June 12, 2025 while all the participants will have to report on June 18 at sports authority. Registration will be free for participants.<br>Bihar government and BSSA will take care of the accommodation and fooding and other arrangements for the players.<br>Tournament is being organised under the guidance of internationally acclaimed Table Tennis player &amp; Padma Shri awardee Sharad Kamal.<br>This makes the event more important for players of the state as they will have the privilege of Sharad Kamal\u2019s guidance and opportunity to showcase their talents before him.<br>The successful and best performing players will be selected from all age-groups by the efficient and experienced selectors.
