{"id":14088,"date":"2026-09-02T15:31:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-02T15:31:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theinkk.com\/?p=14088"},"modified":"2026-09-02T15:31:59","modified_gmt":"2026-09-02T15:31:59","slug":"8-19-lakh-people-above-30-to-undergo-health-screening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theinkk.com\/?p=14088","title":{"rendered":"8.19 lakh people above 30 to undergo health screening"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Shailendra Srivastava<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Buxar<\/strong> : In Buxar district around 8.19 lakh people above 30 years of age to undergo health screening within 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per the directions of the State Health Committee, Bihar, all preparations for the \u201cScreening and Treatment \u2013 Healthcare at Your Doorstep Campaign\u201d under the NP-NCD Programme have been completed by the District Health Committee, Buxar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 90-day special campaign, which will run from September 02, 2026 to November 30, 2026, was formally launched at the state level today, September 02, 2026, at 10:30 AM by the Hon\u2019ble Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Samrat Choudhary, through video conferencing from the Energy Stadium, Patna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Buxar district, the inauguration ceremony was organized in the conference hall located at the Collectorate premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign will continue for 90 days, from September 02, 2026 to November 30, 2026. Under the campaign, a target has been set to screen a total of 8,19,000 (8.19 lakh) people through 182 identified healthcare institutions across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The District Magistrate said , \u201cTimely detection of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and cancer is the key to effective treatment. In Buxar district, a massive target has been set to screen 8.19 lakh people within 90 days through 182 healthcare institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The district administration is fully committed to ensuring the successful implementation of this campaign. I appeal to all citizens of the district to avail themselves of the benefits of this campaign and get themselves screened without fail.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Civil Surgeon said, \u201cThe entire healthcare team, from the District Hospital to all Primary Health Centres, has been placed on alert mode.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The District Non-Communicable Disease Officer, while explaining the campaign, said, \u201cDuring the campaign, free screening facilities for non-communicable diseases will be available through door-to-door visits as well as at nearby health centres. Awareness vehicles will also be used to reach remote rural areas of the district and encourage people to undergo health screening, so that diseases can be detected in time and treatment can be started at the earliest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The District Programme Manager said, \u201cA detailed micro-action plan has been prepared for the successful implementation of this campaign. To ensure the screening of 8.19 lakh people within the stipulated period of 90 days, duties have been assigned to all health workers, ANMs and ASHA workers in coordination with the 182 identified healthcare institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Deputy Development Commissioner, Buxar; Civil Surgeon; and other officials and staff members.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shailendra Srivastava Buxar : In Buxar district around 8.19 lakh people above 30 years of age to undergo health screening within 90 days.
