High School, Buxar, today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme was jointly inaugurated by the District Magistrate, Buxar, Ms. Sahila, and the Deputy Development Commissioner, Buxar, Ms. Niharika Chhavi, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The primary objective of the workshop was to promote emotional intelligence, gender equality, sensitive behaviour, and positive communication among teachers and students, while creating awareness about the importance of establishing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training sessions were conducted by Ms. Nivedita Singh and Ms. Shweta, trainers from World Being India. They elaborated on emotional intelligence, identifying and understanding emotions, gender sensitivity, equality, mutual respect, and the importance of positive relationships in the school environment. Through practical examples and participatory activities, the participants were encouraged to understand these concepts and incorporate them into their daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the gathering, District Magistrate Ms. Sahila emphasized the need to promote sensitivity, equality, and positive behaviour within the education system. She stated that ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment in schools is essential for the holistic development of students. She further highlighted that the role of teachers is not limited to imparting academic knowledge; fostering self-confidence, sensitivity, cooperation, and human values among students is equally important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students from various model schools across the city participated in the workshop along with their respective nodal teachers. Through various activities and discussions, students and teachers exchanged views on important topics such as emotional understanding, gender equality, mutual respect, and sensitive behaviour. Special emphasis was laid on promoting positive communication in schools and ensuring that every student has access to a safe, respectful, and discrimination-free environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme conveyed the message that the purpose of quality education extends beyond academic achievements. It also involves nurturing self-confidence, equality, cooperation, sensitivity, and human values among students.
