The State Election Commission has issued special instructions regarding polling stations. According to the instructions of the State Election Commission, maximum 1 thousand voters will be able to cast their votes in each booth. The polling stations set up for the Lok Sabha and assembly elections will be made booths for that ward. Voters should have a polling station within a maximum distance of 2 kms. While issuing instructions, the State Election Commission has said that no polling station can be built on any police station, hospital, religious building or disputed land.
