Buxar : As per the information received from the Disaster Management Branch, in view of the flood situation in Buxar district as of 06 September 2026, a total of 05 blocks, 12 panchayats and 24 villages are affected. An estimated 9,989 people have been affected.
For relief and rescue operations in the flood-affected areas, 36 boats are currently in operation. In addition, 04 boat ambulances are available. So far, 853 polythene sheets have been distributed in the affected areas. NDRF/SDRF teams have also been deployed for relief and rescue operations.
According to the available data, the current estimated number of affected families is zero, displaced population is zero, medical camps are zero, and veterinary camps are zero. No relief centres or community kitchens have been operated so far.
Similarly, the total number of people who have taken shelter in relief centres, the number of people provided meals through community kitchens, and the number of food packets/dry ration packets distributed so far are zero.
The District Administration is continuously monitoring the situation in the flood-affected areas and ensuring the availability of all necessary resources for relief and rescue operations as required.
