Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has sent Bhola Yadav, the OSD of the then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav, accused in the railway recruitment scam case, to seven days CBI custody. The CBI arrested Bhola Yadav and produced him in the court of Special Judge Geetanjali Goel. After that the court ordered to send him to CBI custody till August 2.
Bhola Yadav was the OSD of Lalu Yadav from 2004 to 2009. The railway recruitment scam is of Lalu Yadav during his tenure as Railway Minister. Bhola Yadav is believed to be the mastermind of this scam. It is alleged that when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister, he was asked to give land in lieu of a job. Bhola Yadav was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out the work of giving land in lieu of job. Bhola Yadav was elected MLA from Bahadurpur seat in the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections.
In the third week of May, the CBI had raided 17 locations linked to Lalu’s family members in this case. The CBI had raided the locations of Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti in Patna, Gopalganj and Delhi
