Opportunity to Resolve Cases in National Lok Adalat

Third National Lok Adalat of the Year to be Held on 12 September 2026

Parties should be encouraged to settle their cases through notices. All parties involved in the cases should be informed in a timely manner through notices and encouraged to resolve their cases on the basis of mutual settlement during the National Lok Adalat.

Buxar: As per the directions of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi, and the Bihar State Legal Services Authority (BLSA), Patna, the Third National Lok Adalat of the year 2026 will be organized on 12 September 2026 at the premises of the Civil Court, Buxar.

In this regard, on 21 August 2026, Shri Devesh Kumar, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar, held a meeting with the Station House Officers of various police stations of Buxar district at the Legal Services Sadan building.

Addressing the police station in-charges present at the meeting, he directed them to ensure timely service of notices prepared for both parties of the cases identified by the District Office for disposal. He further instructed them to encourage the parties to settle their pending cases before the Civil Court, Buxar, through mutual compromise and settlement in the National Lok Adalat.

A large number of cases are pending before the Civil Court, Buxar. If the parties to these cases are informed and guided in a timely manner, the burden of pending litigation on the courts can be significantly reduced.

It was further stated that notices are being issued to all concerned parties in a timely manner, informing and encouraging them to settle their cases on the basis of mutual agreement during the National Lok Adalat.

The Station House Officers of various police stations of Buxar district were present on the occasion.
