Buxar: Taking major action in the alleged rape case of a minor schoolgirl associated with a government middle school in the Krishna Brahm police station area, the police have arrested the main accused, teacher Arvind Kumar. Along with him, his associate Vikas has also been arrested. This was confirmed by SP Shubham Arya. He stated that operations are ongoing to arrest the absconding teacher, Birendra. The accused teacher Arvind was arrested in Brahampur.
Half a dozen people were taken into custody
The main accused, teacher Arvind Kumar, was nabbed from the Brahampur area. Based on his interrogation, pressure has been mounted to arrest the other accused. The police claim that the accused Birendra will also be arrested soon.
A room in a Dumraon hotel sealed
According to the complaint filed by the victim’s mother, the accused teachers lured her minor daughter and raped her. The application states that the incident took place in January 2026. When the family found out about the incident, they contacted the police and filed a complaint, after which an FIR was registered and action was initiated. An important lead has emerged during the police investigation. A room in a private hotel in Dumraon has been sealed. It is suspected that this room may have been used for activities related to the incident. However, the police have not yet officially confirmed whether the rape occurred at that specific location. Dumraon SHO Sanjay Kumar Sinha confirmed the sealing of the hotel room. Meanwhile, in-charge SDPO Samir Kumar Singh stated that the police are working to arrest the second accused.
Accused teacher’s mobile investigation could reveal many secrets
The police have recovered a mobile phone from the arrested main accused, Arvind Kumar, which is considered a crucial piece of evidence for the investigation. Confirming the recovery of the mobile, SHO Chandan Kumar stated that the device is being thoroughly examined for technical evidence. Efforts are underway to gather important facts related to the case through call details, chats, photos, and other digital evidence.
FIR registered at Krishna Brahm Police Station
An FIR has been registered against three named accused in this case connected to a government middle school in the police station area. SHO Chandan Kumar clarified that the case was registered at the Krishna Brahm police station itself. Initially, there were rumors that the FIR was lodged at the Women’s Police Station, but the police dismissed this and clarified the situation.
Investigation begins in Patna hotels based on the accused’s leads
Based on the clues obtained during the interrogation of the arrested accused Arvind Kumar, the police have intensified their investigation. According to police sources, the interrogation revealed that the accused teachers had also taken the student to some hotels in Patna. Following this revelation, a special team has been dispatched to Patna, where they are raiding hotels and scanning CCTV footage, registers, and other evidence. Meanwhile, there is a strong atmosphere of anger in the area over the incident. Villagers and parents have demanded strict action against the culprits.
Teacher caught fleeing the village due to police pressure
Due to the mounting pressure from the Brahampur police, teacher Arvind Kumar was caught fleeing his village based on a secret tip-off. Reportedly, an informant notified the police that the teacher was trying to escape. Acting swiftly on the information, SHO Brajesh Kumar dispatched a police team and apprehended Arvind Kumar near Purva village. Additionally, the police have detained Dharmendra Singh alias Munna Singh, Mohammad Naim, and Amarnath Prasad—all residents of Brahampur village—for questioning. According to the police, these individuals are accused of being in constant telephonic contact with the main accused’s house.
