Nitish yatra is inspired by Rajdharma: Ranbir

PATNA: Rebutting the opposition attack on Samadhan Yatra, the ruling Janata Dal (United) on Friday said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is following the Rajdharma by reviewing the different ongoing schemes and meeting people during his visit to different parts of the state. 

Party spokesman and former MLC Ranbir Nandan said that Nitish Kumar is a true Karmayogi as he is listening to the problems of the people even in the current spell of chilly weather in the state.

“Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has conducted several yatras in the past including Nyay Yatra, Vikas Yatra, Dhanyabad Yatra, Vishwas Yatra, Seva Yatra, Adhikar Yatra, Sankalp Yatra, Sampark Yatra, Nischay Yatra, Samiksha Yatra, Jal Jeevan Hariyali Yatra and others in the larger interest of the people and development of the state,” he said.

The JDU leader said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inspected the ongoing construction of the International Convention Centre at Valmikinagar, enquired about river discharge at the Gandak Barrage control room and visited the Valmikinagar tiger reserve. The Chief Minister also inspected the development schemes being carried out in Santpur Soharia panchayat in Bagaha-2 area and laid the foundation of community hall and workshed under Tharuhat Development Agency, he added. 

Ranbir said that the Chief Minister reviewed the street light scheme and many others at ground zero. “Nitish Kumar is the only grounded leader who takes such yatras to mingle with people and address their problems”, he said.
